Bakugan Classes

Dragonoid The Dragonoid Class is designed to seek and destroy.  Equipped with high intelligence, they are limited in Battle mobility but compensate for through powerful strikes.  Dragonoids will also fire high-speed oscillating, electromagnetic waves from their venomous mouths, annihilating anyone who gets in their way.
Falconeer The Falconeer Class targets its prey from high above.  This Bakugan is a bird beast with extreme clairvoyance that is capable of seeing through things regardless of distance and coverage.  Most importantly, this special Bakugan can resurrect itself and right any wrongs it may have experienced.  Defeating it once is simply not enough.

Fear Ripper The Fear Ripper Class is swift and deadly with its giant blades, performing their dirty work undercover.  They are chameleons, capable of changing into fire, earth, light, water or wind.  A complicated Bakugan that never reveals its true identity, the Fear Ripper Class are oddly shy, however, still charming and funny.

Juggernoid The Juggernoid Class possesses the most natural destructive force of any Bakugan.  Inflicting even the smallest amount of damage to these heavily armoured, walking fortresses has proven to be a task most difficult for any Brawler.  Their armor has no visible weaknesses to exploit during Battle, and the force with which they hammer opponents sends shockwaves throughout the Bakugan Universe.

Reaper The Reaper Class is no stranger to vengeance. In fact, they take great pride in unleashing a powerful fury on their helpless targets. Filled deep inside with a type of rage unlike any experienced on earth, Reapers will methodically plan their revenge. When an opportune time arises, they will deliver striking blow after striking blow until nothing is left except for a wicked sense of satisfaction.

Robotallian The Robotallian Class serves and protects it’s allies.  Fierce claws and gigantic blades located within their bodies are capable of slicing cleanly through any substance.  They move at high speeds and are extremely difficult to view with the human eye.  The Robotallian Class places great value on their sense of duty and protection, and will let nothing get in the way of fufilling those responsibilities.

Saurus The Saurus Class are tough, hardcore Brawlers.  Dismissing strategy and camouflage as excess baggage in Battle, they attack their opponents head on and leave little to the imagination.  Nothing makes the Saurus Class happier then to see their victims actually believe they stood a chance prior to the Brawl.  It is only after all hope has been erased with a hammer of pain that the Saurus Class is satisfied to continue on their way.

Serpenoid The Serpenoid Class squeezes the life out of its enemies.  This Bakugan’s attack is extremely fast but the suffering it inflicts is slow and methodical.  Their power grows as the life of their enemies is slowly sucked away, leaving them with nothing.  The Serpenoid Class slithers low to the ground but is quick to rise up and Battle other Bakugan.

Bakugan Card Types

A Normal Card is the most basic of all the Gateway cards and is an absolute necessity for Battle.  It contains six G-Power Boosts.  Each one has a specific boost depending on the Planet your Bakugan Warrior is from.  An HSP score is also located at the bottom of these cards.  It will be used to determine the overall winner at the end of the Battle.

A Character Card is designed for one specific Bakugan Warrior.  There are as many Character Cards as there are Bakugans.  Much like a Normal Card, a Character Card consists of six G-Power Boosts and an HSP score.  These cards differ in that a Character Card will bare that Bakugan’s image and double its G-Power when it stands on it.  Standing a Bakugan on its character card dramatically increases the chances of winning that Battle.

A Command Card will add an unexpected element of surprise to a Battle.  There are the standard G-Power Boosts and HSP scores, however, in the case of the Command Card, there is a direct order that both Brawlers must follow.  The command will systematically alter the course of a Battle and could very well decide the fate of the final winner.

A Special Ability Card is an extremely valuable card to be holding in a deck.  In fact, it is so powerful that only a single Special Ability Card is allowed to be brought to Battle.  Unlike the other three Gateway cards, a Special Ability Card does not have any G-Power Boosts.  Instead it has an HSP score and a particular instruction that all Brawlers must obey.  A Special Ability Card is quite forceful and when used properly can have a devastating affect on your opponents.

Bakugan Types

Haos:

Haos’ skies shine bright, leaving a lasting effect on even the most protected eyes.  A mystic aura emanates from the planet.  A colossal source of power is the center of the planet, which draws energy from all matters of light.  It is under this mass of activity that the Haos Bakugans have discovered the mythical ability to control and manipulate light and energy.

Darkus:

Darkus is located on the Dark Hemisphere of the Universe and is home to Bakugans who are grandmasters in night fighting and causing destruction.  Years of study and intense training have allowed the Darkus Bakugans to thrive in Battles hidden deep in the shadows of the night.  It is within these shadows that the Darkus Bakugans grow in strength.

Subterra:

Subterra’s rugged exterior prepares its Bakugans for the hard and cruel Universe that awaits them.  Dividing their time above and below ground, the Subterra Bakugan perfect their craft of combat with a highly intense level of enthusiasm.  They are one with the land in which they live and their Battle style suggests nothing to the contrary.

Ventus:

The planet of Ventus is swift and silent yet within its borders lurks a vicious cycle that overwhelms intruders and punishes them for trespassing.  The Ventus Bakugans are fast and powerful like hurricane winds.  Once their enemies get caught in the eye of the storm, they are defenseless to the Ventus’ wrath.

Pyrus:

Pyrus can be found at the inner core of the Universe and is inhabited by Bakugans who draw their strength from the excruciating heat that surrounds them.  It is within these deep recesses of molten rock that their intensity is forged.  Never one to waste even a second, the Pyrus blitz their enemies from every angle like a raging firestorm.

Aquos:

Buried deep below a blanket of dark waters, a deceiving air of tranquility fills Aquos.  On the surface all appears calm and still, but in that silence lurk deadly warriors, proficient in all saturated environments.  Aquos Bakugan seamlessly glide from one attack position to the next, constantly preparing for their moment of glory.

Story of Bakugan

One day, cards began to fall from the sky and were picked up by kids all over the world. The cards featured different characters, different environments, and different powers. Kids created a popular battle game not knowing that these cards actually corresponded to an alternate world called Vestroia. Kids from all over the world played with the cards, yet 6 kids stood out: Dan, Marucho, Runo, Shun, Julie and Alice. They named the monsters “Bakugans” and their elite team the “Bakugan Battle Brawlers”.Vestroia is a vast dimension comprised of 6 attribute worlds: Fire, Earth, Light, Darkness, Water and Wind. At the very centre of this universe there are two opposing energy cores; THE INFINITY CORE, the source of all positive energy and… THE SILENT CORE, the source of all negative energy. Throughout history, these two opposing forces had maintained the balance of equilibrium in Vestroia. However, there was one rogue Bakugan who lusted for control, and schemed to seize all of the power for himself. His name was Naga and his mission was to penetrate the silent core and seize its power.
Meanwhile, back on Earth a scientist named Michael had been working on a dimension transportation device. During testing of the machine, an explosion sucked him in and led him to Vestroia where he discovered the two energy cores. While trying to return to earth, he was pulled in by the evil energy of the Silent Core and became the villain known as “Hal G”. While in Vestroia, Hal G encountered the Bakugan Naga, and the two made a deal - Hal G would give Naga the human world in exchange for his control over Vestroia!
Naga eventually succeeded in his goal of reaching the silent core and began to absorb its negative energy. However, the negative energy proved too much for Naga to handle. The negative energy exploded and the Infinity Core fell to earth. Vestroia erupted in pandemonium; the negative power overwhelming the minds and wills of the Bakugan who live there.

As Vestroia begun to collapse, the human world is also affected. The “Infinity Core” and “the Silent Core” are interfering with one another and starting to run wild. Now it is up to Dan and the other Battle Brawlers to find the Infinity Core and reunite it with the Silent Core to restore balance. What these young warriors initially thought was just a game has become a race to restore peace throughout the universe!
